Can Orange Delight Shrimp and Threadfin Rainbowfish Live Together?

Orange Delight Shrimp is a peaceful species (0/10), while Threadfin Rainbowfish is peaceful (1/10). This modest difference means Threadfin Rainbowfish may occasionally assert dominance over Orange Delight Shrimp.

In terms of spatial distribution, Orange Delight Shrimp prefers the Bottom (Substrate) zone, whereas Threadfin Rainbowfish occupies the Top (Surface) and Middle (Open Water) zones. Because they use different levels of the water column, territorial disputes are less likely and the tank will appear more balanced.

Worth noting: Threadfin Rainbowfish is a known jumper, so a tight-fitting lid is essential.

The safe temperature window for both species falls between 26°C and 29°C. Aim for the midpoint of this range (around 27.5°C) for optimal comfort.
