Can Orange Delight Shrimp and Spotted Rainbowfish Live Together?

Orange Delight Shrimp is a peaceful species (0/10), while Spotted Rainbowfish is peaceful (2/10). This modest difference means Spotted Rainbowfish may occasionally assert dominance over Orange Delight Shrimp.

In terms of spatial distribution, Orange Delight Shrimp prefers the Bottom (Substrate) zone, whereas Spotted Rainbowfish occupies the Middle (Open Water) and Top (Surface) zones. Because they use different levels of the water column, territorial disputes are less likely and the tank will appear more balanced.

Worth noting: Spotted Rainbowfish is a known jumper, so a tight-fitting lid is essential.

The safe temperature window for both species falls between 26°C and 28°C. Aim for the midpoint of this range (around 27.0°C) for optimal comfort.
