Can Balloon Molly and Penguin Tetra Live Together?

Balloon Molly is a generally mild-mannered species (3/10), while Penguin Tetra is peaceful (2/10). This modest difference means Balloon Molly may occasionally assert dominance over Penguin Tetra.

Balloon Molly and Penguin Tetra both frequent the Top (Surface) and Middle (Open Water) region of the setup. This overlap can increase competition for space, so providing ample room and cover is important to keep both species comfortable.

Worth noting: Penguin Tetra is a known jumper, so a tight-fitting lid is essential.
