Can Tami River Rainbowfish and Zebra Pleco (L046) Live Together?

Tami River Rainbowfish is a peaceful species (2/10), while Zebra Pleco (L046) is generally mild-mannered (3/10). This modest difference means Zebra Pleco (L046) may occasionally assert dominance over Tami River Rainbowfish.

In terms of spatial distribution, Tami River Rainbowfish prefers the Top (Surface) and Middle (Open Water) zones, whereas Zebra Pleco (L046) occupies the Bottom (Substrate) zone. Because they use different levels of the water column, territorial disputes are less likely and the tank will appear more balanced.
