Can Moonlight Gourami and Parallel Cory Live Together?

Moonlight Gourami is a generally mild-mannered species (3/10), while Parallel Cory is peaceful (1/10). This modest difference means Moonlight Gourami may occasionally assert dominance over Parallel Cory.

In terms of spatial distribution, Moonlight Gourami prefers the Top (Surface) and Middle (Open Water) zones, whereas Parallel Cory occupies the Bottom (Substrate) zone. Because they use different levels of the water column, territorial disputes are less likely and the tank will appear more balanced.

Worth noting: Moonlight Gourami is a known jumper, so a tight-fitting lid is essential.
