Can Gymnogeophagus meridionalis and Peacock Eel Live Together?

Gymnogeophagus meridionalis and Peacock Eel both frequent the Bottom (Substrate) region of the setup. This overlap can increase competition for space, so providing ample room and cover is important to keep both species comfortable.
