Can Endler's Livebearer and Spotted Hillstream Loach Live Together?

Endler's Livebearer is a peaceful species (1/10), while Spotted Hillstream Loach is peaceful (2/10). This modest difference means Spotted Hillstream Loach may occasionally assert dominance over Endler's Livebearer.

In terms of spatial distribution, Endler's Livebearer prefers the Top (Surface) and Middle (Open Water) zones, whereas Spotted Hillstream Loach occupies the Bottom (Substrate) zone. Because they use different levels of the water column, territorial disputes are less likely and the tank will appear more balanced.

Worth noting: Endler's Livebearer is a known jumper, so a tight-fitting lid is essential.
