Can Emperor Tetra and Empire Gudgeon Live Together?

Emperor Tetra is a peaceful species (2/10), while Empire Gudgeon is generally mild-mannered (3/10). This modest difference means Empire Gudgeon may occasionally assert dominance over Emperor Tetra.

Emperor Tetra and Empire Gudgeon both frequent the Middle (Open Water) region of the setup. This overlap can increase competition for space, so providing ample room and cover is important to keep both species comfortable.

Worth noting: Emperor Tetra is a known jumper, so a tight-fitting lid is essential.
