Can Emerald Eye Rasbora and Golden Bristlenose Pleco Live Together?

Emerald Eye Rasbora is a peaceful species (1/10), while Golden Bristlenose Pleco is peaceful (2/10). This modest difference means Golden Bristlenose Pleco may occasionally assert dominance over Emerald Eye Rasbora.

In terms of spatial distribution, Emerald Eye Rasbora prefers the Top (Surface) and Middle (Open Water) zones, whereas Golden Bristlenose Pleco occupies the Bottom (Substrate) zone. Because they use different levels of the water column, territorial disputes are less likely and the tank will appear more balanced.

Worth noting: Golden Bristlenose Pleco is nocturnal and will be most active after lights-out, naturally reducing daytime encounters.
