Can Dwarf Chain Loach and Pygmy Rainbowfish Live Together?

Dwarf Chain Loach is a peaceful species (2/10), while Pygmy Rainbowfish is generally mild-mannered (3/10). This modest difference means Pygmy Rainbowfish may occasionally assert dominance over Dwarf Chain Loach.

Dwarf Chain Loach and Pygmy Rainbowfish both frequent the Middle (Open Water) region of the setup. This overlap can increase competition for space, so providing ample room and cover is important to keep both species comfortable.

Worth noting: Pygmy Rainbowfish is a known jumper, so a tight-fitting lid is essential.
