Can Bristlenose Pleco and Emerald Eye Rasbora Live Together?

Bristlenose Pleco is a peaceful species (2/10), while Emerald Eye Rasbora is peaceful (1/10). This modest difference means Bristlenose Pleco may occasionally assert dominance over Emerald Eye Rasbora.

In terms of spatial distribution, Bristlenose Pleco prefers the Bottom (Substrate) zone, whereas Emerald Eye Rasbora occupies the Top (Surface) and Middle (Open Water) zones. Because they use different levels of the water column, territorial disputes are less likely and the tank will appear more balanced.

Worth noting: Bristlenose Pleco is nocturnal and will be most active after lights-out, naturally reducing daytime encounters.
