Can Betta (Siamese Fighting Fish) and Peppered Corydoras Live Together?

Betta (Siamese Fighting Fish) is a moderately assertive species (5/10), while Peppered Corydoras is peaceful (0/10). This notable difference means Betta (Siamese Fighting Fish) may occasionally assert dominance over Peppered Corydoras.

Because they use different levels of the water column, territorial disputes are less likely and the tank will appear more balanced.
