Can Arapaima and Bucktooth Tetra (Exodon) Live Together?

Arapaima is a semi-aggressive species (7/10), while Bucktooth Tetra (Exodon) is highly aggressive (9/10). This modest difference means Bucktooth Tetra (Exodon) may occasionally assert dominance over Arapaima.

Because this pairing requires extra vigilance, include plenty of hiding spots — caves, driftwood, and dense plant clusters — so the less dominant fish can retreat when needed.
