Can Altifrons Eartheater and Koi Live Together?

Altifrons Eartheater is a generally mild-mannered species (4/10), while Koi is peaceful (2/10). This modest difference means Altifrons Eartheater may occasionally assert dominance over Koi.

Altifrons Eartheater and Koi both frequent the Bottom (Substrate) and Middle (Open Water) region of the setup. This overlap can increase competition for space, so providing ample room and cover is important to keep both species comfortable.

Worth noting: Koi is a known jumper, so a tight-fitting lid is essential.
