Can Agassiz Cory and Colombian Tetra Live Together?

Agassiz Cory is a peaceful species (0/10), while Colombian Tetra is generally mild-mannered (4/10). This notable difference means Colombian Tetra may occasionally assert dominance over Agassiz Cory.

In terms of spatial distribution, Agassiz Cory prefers the Bottom (Substrate) zone, whereas Colombian Tetra occupies the Middle (Open Water) zone. Because they use different levels of the water column, territorial disputes are less likely and the tank will appear more balanced.

To improve the chances of a peaceful coexistence in this community tank: A larger aquarium with ample hiding spots can help diffuse aggression and give the less dominant fish space to retreat.
