Can Agassiz Cory and Altum Angel Live Together?

Agassiz Cory is a peaceful species (0/10), while Altum Angel is moderately assertive (5/10). This notable difference means Altum Angel may occasionally assert dominance over Agassiz Cory.

In terms of spatial distribution, Agassiz Cory prefers the Bottom (Substrate) zone, whereas Altum Angel occupies the Middle (Open Water) zone. Because they use different levels of the water column, territorial disputes are less likely and the tank will appear more balanced.

Additional behavioural considerations to keep in mind: Hyperactive swimmers can stress shy, slow-moving species through constant motion.
