Can Achara Catfish and Celebes Rainbowfish Live Together?

Achara Catfish is a moderately assertive species (6/10), while Celebes Rainbowfish is peaceful (2/10). This notable difference means Achara Catfish may occasionally assert dominance over Celebes Rainbowfish.

In terms of spatial distribution, Achara Catfish prefers the Bottom (Substrate) zone, whereas Celebes Rainbowfish occupies the Top (Surface) and Middle (Open Water) zones. Because they use different levels of the water column, territorial disputes are less likely and the tank will appear more balanced.
