Can Tambraparni Barb and Tandanus Catfish Live Together?

Tambraparni Barb is a generally mild-mannered species (3/10), while Tandanus Catfish is generally mild-mannered (4/10). This modest difference means Tandanus Catfish may occasionally assert dominance over Tambraparni Barb.

In terms of spatial distribution, Tambraparni Barb prefers the Middle (Open Water) zone, whereas Tandanus Catfish occupies the Bottom (Substrate) zone. Because they use different levels of the water column, territorial disputes are less likely and the tank will appear more balanced.
