Can Spotted Hillstream Loach and Teugelsi Bichir Live Together?

Spotted Hillstream Loach is a peaceful species (2/10), while Teugelsi Bichir is moderately assertive (5/10). This modest difference means Teugelsi Bichir may occasionally assert dominance over Spotted Hillstream Loach.

Spotted Hillstream Loach and Teugelsi Bichir both frequent the Bottom (Substrate) region of the setup. This overlap can increase competition for space, so providing ample room and cover is important to keep both species comfortable.
