Can Scissortail Rasbora and Spotted Hillstream Loach Live Together?

Scissortail Rasbora is a peaceful species (1/10), while Spotted Hillstream Loach is peaceful (2/10). This modest difference means Spotted Hillstream Loach may occasionally assert dominance over Scissortail Rasbora.

In terms of spatial distribution, Scissortail Rasbora prefers the Top (Surface) and Middle (Open Water) zones, whereas Spotted Hillstream Loach occupies the Bottom (Substrate) zone. Because they use different levels of the water column, territorial disputes are less likely and the tank will appear more balanced.
