Can Pacific Sturgeon and Silvertip Tetra Live Together?

Pacific Sturgeon is a generally mild-mannered species (3/10), while Silvertip Tetra is generally mild-mannered (4/10). This modest difference means Silvertip Tetra may occasionally assert dominance over Pacific Sturgeon.

In terms of spatial distribution, Pacific Sturgeon prefers the Bottom (Substrate) zone, whereas Silvertip Tetra occupies the Middle (Open Water) zone. Because they use different levels of the water column, territorial disputes are less likely and the tank will appear more balanced.
