Can Largemouth Bass and Tandanus Catfish Live Together?

Largemouth Bass is a semi-aggressive species (8/10), while Tandanus Catfish is generally mild-mannered (4/10). This notable difference means Largemouth Bass may occasionally assert dominance over Tandanus Catfish.

In terms of spatial distribution, Largemouth Bass prefers the Top (Surface) and Middle (Open Water) zones, whereas Tandanus Catfish occupies the Bottom (Substrate) zone. Because they use different levels of the water column, territorial disputes are less likely and the tank will appear more balanced.
