Can Emperor Snakehead and Three-Spot Torpedo Hap Live Together?

Emperor Snakehead is a highly aggressive species (9/10), while Three-Spot Torpedo Hap is moderately assertive (6/10). This modest difference means Emperor Snakehead may occasionally assert dominance over Three-Spot Torpedo Hap.

To house Emperor Snakehead and Three-Spot Torpedo Hap together, plan for an aquarium of at least 800 litres with a minimum length of 200 cm. Because this pairing requires extra vigilance, include plenty of hiding spots — caves, driftwood, and dense plant clusters — so the less dominant fish can retreat when needed.
