Can Chocolate Cichlid and Clown Killifish Live Together?

Chocolate Cichlid is a generally mild-mannered species (4/10), while Clown Killifish is peaceful (2/10). This modest difference means Chocolate Cichlid may occasionally assert dominance over Clown Killifish.

In terms of spatial distribution, Chocolate Cichlid prefers the Middle (Open Water) and Bottom (Substrate) zones, whereas Clown Killifish occupies the Top (Surface) zone. Because they use different levels of the water column, territorial disputes are less likely and the tank will appear more balanced.
