Can Blue Point Cichlid and Clown Killifish Live Together?

Blue Point Cichlid is a moderately assertive species (6/10), while Clown Killifish is peaceful (2/10). This notable difference means Blue Point Cichlid may occasionally assert dominance over Clown Killifish.

In terms of spatial distribution, Blue Point Cichlid prefers the Middle (Open Water) and Bottom (Substrate) zones, whereas Clown Killifish occupies the Top (Surface) zone. Because this pairing requires extra vigilance, include plenty of hiding spots — caves, driftwood, and dense plant clusters — so the less dominant fish can retreat when needed.
