Can Assassin Snail and Cuban Gar Live Together?

Assassin Snail is a peaceful species (2/10), while Cuban Gar is moderately assertive (6/10). This notable difference means Cuban Gar may occasionally assert dominance over Assassin Snail.

In terms of spatial distribution, Assassin Snail prefers the Bottom (Substrate) zone, whereas Cuban Gar occupies the Top (Surface) and Middle (Open Water) zones. Because they use different levels of the water column, territorial disputes are less likely and the tank will appear more balanced.
